Augusto Medina

Augusto Medina (Ph.D., M.S., University of Michigan) is project manager for the Environmental Education and Training Partnership (EETAP) of the College of Natural Resources, University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. He oversaw EETAP’s development of the National Environmental Education Guidelines for Excellence, which have been used to train over 75,000 educators in the U.S. on how to incorporate environmental education in their teaching. Dr. Medina has also created environmental education programs for countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as China and India. A leader in several environmental education organizations, he is a recipient of the Walter E. Jeske Award for outstanding contributions to the field and the Taft Campus Award for outdoor and environmental education.
